@BIGIRONTV Have you had any dealing with damage to R1 doors on a 777-200? I ask in regards to the R1 door panel that was recovered from Flight Mh370 and the possibility of Explosive decompression in that area.

All the backups and electronic redudancies are all in that same compartment?/bay? if a fire catches on, like due to oxygen explosion or auto ignition of materials, there's not much to do, right? You probably can still control the airplane with the battery and backup cables, but if that then becomes consumed by fire after let's say 10 minutes of the initial fire started.... no more controls.

I like the anti-static wrist band. It looks exactly like the one I used to have in the EE lab. I probably paid $3.99 for mine at Radio Shack. I'll guess that one cost $399 and comes with a stack of certification paperwork an inch thick :-)

Can you share some of the details on the air compressor you were running please? Like tank size, and motor size and cfm if you can. But I can know all I need to know if you could share the tank size and if it plugs into a regular outlet or a 230volt or something like that. Looking at getting a set of these for some part time Cerakote for my bmx bike. Thanks I love the idea of using these spray guns could save me a ton if my 8 gal central pneumatic air compressor can run it.

Thanks for the tail number. I was like, "I've not seen an accessibile EE bay on a normal passenger model outside of the factory." VIP model. Makes sense. Doesn't look like it has officially flown out of Saudi Arabia since late 2017 a few months after the.... incident. Definitely one of the more special 777's to have flown.

Interesting fact: you only have to pull one of the cord to inflate the vest, the reason there’s two is in case one doesn’t work. That’s why when you pull the two cords the vest inflates right up to your face 😊
